The present work deals with the creation and implementation of the Jari Project, which is a project to develop economic activities in the Jari River Valley, in the Northern Region of the Amazon Basin. It shows the historical and geographical part of the region where the project would be implemented, the actual implementation and the problems faced in this deployment.O presente trabalho trata sobre a criação e implantação do Projeto Jari, que é um projeto de desenvolvimento de atividades econômicas no Vale do Rio Jari, Região norte da Bacia Amazônica. Mostra a parte histórica e geográfica da região onde seria aplicado o projeto, sobre a implantação propriamente dita e dos problemas enfrentados nesta implantação.
