<p>El sistema productivo de yuca es un negocio alternativo para los agricultores de la zona, utilizando la producción de yuca (Manihot esculenta Crantz) como cultivo alternativo a los tradicionales y optimizando los manejos agronómicos, sin embargo, el desconocimiento de las prácticas de manejo agronómico, el limitado acceso a recursos económicos y la falta de acompañamiento técnico son factores a los cuales se enfrentan al momento de producir. Es por esto que el presente proyecto se estableció con el fin de demostrar la viabilidad de sistemas de producción en el municipio y así motivar a la comunidad de la zona en cuanto a la implementación de cultivos que tengan componentes socioeconómicos que ayuden a garantizar la agricultura sostenible. Se estableció un cultivo de yuca basado en buenas prácticas agrícolas (BPA) que contribuya a optimizar los rendimientos obtenidos por pequeños productores de la zona, del mismo modo se implementó una investigación con los agricultores, realizando visitas y entrevistas estructuradas, con el fin de reconocer las labores que se realizaban en los cultivos, lo que permitió evaluar el manejo agronómico del cultivo de yuca realizando seguimiento a las producciones sobre las actividades realizadas. Finalmente, el componente social se orientó brindando orientación y acompañamiento para la propuesta e implementación de proyectos productivos sostenibles y sustentables con responsabilidad social y ambiental, lo que genero interés en la participación de programas en pro de empresarizar las unidades productivas de la zona.</p>Agriculture in the municipality of Villavicencio is an alternative business model for farmers in the area, using cassava production as an alternative crop to traditional ones and optimizing agronomic management, however, the lack of knowledge of agronomic management practices, the limited access to economic resources and the lack of technical support are factors that they face when producing, which is why this project was established in order to demonstrate the viability of production systems in the municipality and thus motivate the community in the area regarding the implementation of crops that have socioeconomic components that help guarantee sustainable agriculture. A cassava crop was established based on good agricultural practices BPA that contributes to optimize the yields obtained by small producers in the area, in the same way an investigation was implemented with the farmers in order to recognize the work that was carried out in the crops by through visits and structured interviews that allowed evaluating the agronomic management of the cassava crop by monitoring the productions on the activities carried out. Finally, the social component was carried out in the company of small cassava producers who were given guidance and technical support on the implementation of sustainable and sustainable productive projects with social and environmental responsibility, which generated interest in the participation of programs in favor of entrepreneurize the productive units of the area.
