Abstract

This project's main purpose is to propose a model to program the orders and optimize the supply chain of the company Black Jack Importaciones SAS analyzing different options for the provisioning of its products. First, an investigation will be carried out on the current importation process of the company and on the demand of its products by its customers. Second, the behavior of demand will be studied and the company's sales will be predicted. Third, a detailed investigation will be made of the costs incurred by the company in the process of transporting the goods by different means. Finally, a detailed analysis will be made of how many orders the company must make each year, what quantities it should order, what transportation method it should use and under what inventory management policy it must work to reduce the logistics costs of the company. Este proyecto busca plantear un esquema para programar los pedidos y optimizar la cadena de suministro de la empresa Black Jack Importaciones SAS analizando distintas opciones para el aprovisionamiento de sus productos. En primer lugar, se llevará a cabo una investigación sobre el proceso de importación actual de la empresa y sobre la demanda de sus productos por parte de sus clientes. En segundo lugar se estudiará el comportamiento de la demanda y se pronosticarán las ventas de la empresa. En tercer lugar se hará una investigación detallada de los costos en los que incurre la empresa dentro del proceso de transporte de la mercancía por distintos medios. Por último se hará un análisis detallado de cuántos pedidos debe hacer la empresa al año, qué cantidades debe pedir, qué medio de transporte debe usar y bajo qué política de manejo de inventarios debe trabajar para lograr reducir los costos logísticos de la empresa...
