Una aproximación a la situación de violencia política contra las mujeres congresistas de colombia del período 2018-2022

Resumen
In order of the one of the biggest concerns of the gender equality agenda in Latin America and Caribbean is the political violence against women, the present research digs inside such problem in Colombia. In this way, the present text aims to evidence the political violence against women is a reality in the country, as well as the few law guarantees to face it, restated by gender stereotypes. To achieve the research, aim 13 congress women members solved a semi structured survey regards to political violence against women within the Colombian congress, in order to identify
patterns and features, or if they have been suffer any kind of violence in their political role. First, this text defines violence, then it analyses all the 13 perspectives regarding law guarantees of political participation, and their political limitation within political parties. Due to the survey, it was possible to show the cultural and political complexity that pervades the studied phenomenon, exacerbated by social media.
