Resumen
The purpose of this article is to analyze the relationship between Auto 092/2008 and the current Movement of Amazonian Indigenous Women. Therefore, I argue that with the advances and limitations in the implementation of Auto 092, the Movement of Original Women of the Colombian Amazon is originated as a self-managed process thought from and for indigenous women. To develop this statement, I will present the perception of Auto 092, considering what was stated by OPIAC in the Amazon Chapter of the Program for the Protection of the Rights of Indigenous Women in a Situation of Displacement or at Risk of Being Displaced. Later, I will explain how the Summit of Native Women of the Amazon Basin was a process that crystallized the efforts made since 2008, through the creation of the five Mandates. Subsequently, I will analyze the relationship between the progress and difficulties in the implementation of Auto 092, the results of the Summit and the recent consultation processes with the national government, in order to understand how this Auto is a strategic starting point for the National Commission of Indigenous Women (CNMI) and the mobilization of their current interests and struggles.
