Children are experiencing various situations that can put them at risk, especially in their immediate environment such as family, school, friends and neighbors. The objective was to know the risk factors to which children attending the Child Development Center of Commune V of the Municipality of Yopal are exposed, in order to analyze them and subsequently obtain results. The methodology was developed under the qualitative method, which allowed the identification of the means by which the data would be obtained and the research method chosen was the phenomenological method. The instrument used was a semi-structured interview with the participation of 3 mothers, 1 teacher and 5 children who use this service. The main risk factors identified were lack of knowledge of the concept of "sexual abuse", unqualified professionals, limited and rotation of the same and little follow-up of the entity and care of the children by third parties. Mothers and teachers show interest in being trained to be able to take preventive measures and safeguard minors.Los niños y niñas están experimentando diversas situaciones en las cuales pueden ponerlos en riesgo especialmente en los entornos más cercanos como la familia, colegio, jardines, amigos y vecinos. El objetivo fue conocer los factores de riesgo a los que están expuestos los niños y niñas que asisten al Centro de desarrollo Infantil de la comuna V del Municipio de Yopal, para analizarlos y posteriormente obtener resultados. La metodología se desarrolló bajo el método cualitativo, el cual permitió identificar el medio por el cual se obtendría los datos y el método de investigación elegido fue el fenomenológico. El instrumento utilizado fue la entrevista semiestructurada donde participaron tres madres de familia, un docente y más cinco niños y niñas que utilizan este servicio. Los principales factores de riesgo identificados son desconocimiento del concepto “abuso sexual”, profesionales no cualificados, limitado y rotación de los mismos y poco seguimiento de la entidad y cuidado de los niños y niñas a terceros. Las madres y docentes muestran interés por formarse, capacitarse para poder tomar medidas preventivas y salvaguardar a los menores.
