Uno de estos campos es la ciudad, la cual se ha convertido en una parte fundamental de la investigación del comportamiento humano, porque es campo de acción, referencia e influencia a la vez. Para entender la influencia que tiene la ciudad sobre sus habitantes, debemos empezar con unos aspectos importantes del mundo urbano los cuales son: el diseño y la planeación urbana, la arquitectura, la estética y el espacio público; nociones que están contenidas en la relación sujeto-espacio. Esta es una investigación que se ha abordado desde la observación participante principalmente, debido a que la práctica del parkour involucra una actividad muy dinámica y lúdica, lo cual implica que para irrumpir en las nociones convencionales que constituyen simbólicamente a la ciudad, se debe vivir esta desde una perspectiva más comprometida. La práctica del parkour, la cual es una de tantas actividades que desdibujan los límites de la normatividad impresos en el espacio, límites que disciplinan a la población, desde el espacio público y su constante evocación de ciudadanía y nacionalismo, hasta los más efímeros detalles de la arquitectura urbana. Estos son algunos de los aspectos que se analizarán al ver el impacto que tienen sobre la construcción de la noción de ciudad y espacio de los mismos ciudadanos, y como desde prácticas que oponen resistencia (como el parkour), se transforma y se quebranta la cotidianidad desde los cuerpos desobedientes que mediante la deriva y la heterotopía juegan con fluidez sobre la arquitectura.eng:Understanding anthropology as a syncretism of epistemologies, we enjoy the advantage of having great versatility when it comes to approaching the field (and reading theory). One of these fields is the city, which has become a fundamental part of human behavior research, because it is a field of action, reference and influence at the same time. To understand the influence that the city has on its inhabitants, we must start with some important aspects of the urban world which are: urban design and planning, architecture, aesthetics and public space; notions that are contained in the subject-space relationship. This is an investigation that has been approached from participant observation mainly, because the practice of parkour involves a very dynamic and playful activity, which implies that in order to break into the conventional notions that symbolically constitute the city, one must live this from a more committed perspective. The practice of parkour, which is one of many activities that blur the limits of the normativity printed in space, limits that discipline the population, from the public space and its constant evocation of citizenship and nationalism, to the most ephemeral details of urban architecture.
