dc.descriptionEl documento presenta un estudio de caso cuyo objetivo es evaluar diferentes herramientas tecnológicas que permitan soportar el proceso de control de inventarios de materia prima en una empresa privada del sector autopartes. Como primer paso se realiza un ejercicio de lluvia de ideas contando con el jefe de almacén y jefe de compras para determinar los requisitos específicos con los que debe cumplir la solución a proponer por parte de los oferentes. Seguido se convoca a diferentes proveedores para que analicen la información enviada y puedan preparar y enviar sus propuestas respecto al cumplimiento de los requisitos determinados por la Organización en el punto anterior. En seguida se realiza una evaluación de las propuestas recibidas con el fin de determinar que cumplan con la necesidad de control de inventarios de materia prima y por último se realiza un ejercicio de selección del proveedor que presenta la propuesta que demuestra mayor cumplimiento en las condiciones establecidas para hacer la recomendación a la empresa cliente sobre su elección. Se recomienda contar con el proveedor ERP actual identificando aspectos sobresalientes como posibilidad de integrar WMS, tiempo de instalación y menor costo.
dc.descriptionThe document presents a case study whose objective is to evaluate different technological tools that allow supporting the raw material inventory control process in a private company in the automotive sector. As a first step, a brainstorming exercise is carried out with the warehouse manager and purchasing manager to determine the specific requirements that the solution to be proposed by the bidders must meet. Different suppliers are often called to analyze the information sent and prepare and send their proposals regarding compliance with the requirements determined by the Organization in the previous point. Next, an evaluation of the proposals received is carried out in order to determine that they meet the need to control raw material inventories and, finally, a selection exercise is carried out on the supplier who presents the proposal that demonstrates the greatest compliance with the established conditions to make the recommendation to the client company about their choice. It is recommended to have the current ERP provider identifying outstanding aspects such as the possibility of integrating WMS, less installation time and lower cost.
