Abstract

The following research article presents an exhaustive compilation of the news in the local journal As 4 aldeas related to the pilgrimage of Fray Pedro de Santa María de Ois (Coirós, A Corunna); a historic celebration of a non-public cult with strong popular nature where the figure of the Dominican friar Pedro de Santa María and Ulloa is worshiped, requesting the intercession of miracles as if he were a blessed or a saint, explaining the strong roots of this religious for being this native of these same places. © 2020 Instituto Teologico de Caceres, Universidad de Extremadura.
