Resumen
This degree project deals with an ecological corridor park in Meta Acacias. The design problem arises from the absence and lack of knowledge of equipment to raise awareness about how water is treated and how to recover a landscape from a river edge like the Orotoy as well as from the location criteria of this type of project in a rural context. For this reason, the objective of this degree project is to design an ecological corridor park on the Orotoy river in Meta acacias, whose dynamics make it possible to sensitize the community in general about the secondary purification treatments of the Orotoy river waters and the recovery of a riverside landscape. To achieve this, it was necessary to analyze and diagnose the geographical context, recognizing the value of the place for carrying out awareness and restoration activities. A repertoire of projects was delimited whose purpose was to design parks on the banks of the river with similar problematic situations, such as: Grorudparken, Jovita's biocultural walk to the river (first place in the Cali contest) and a methodology to recover the river banks. river in the urban environment of Quito.
In this way, the importance of this project lies in the role of architecture to mitigate the deterioration of the landscape due to the mismanagement of water contaminated by oil companies.
The project provides solutions through a diverse proposal of activities related to the recovery of the endemic fauna and flora of the Metense sector through present scenarios such as: forests, gardens, butterfly farms, apiaries, phytoremediation, botanical exhibitions of native species, fruits, observation of birds, insects and regional fauna promoting an interactive pedagogy.
