Diseño de un plan de negocio para el “Programa de educación, monitoreo y seguimiento en casa de los niños con cardiopatías congénitas complejas” en la IPS de la Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia

Abstract

The current challenge is to incorporate the "Promesa" program into the service portfolio of the Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia. With this purpose in mind, a robust business plan has been developed, encompassing a market study, technical, administrative, and legal aspects, as well as the design of comprehensive financial management to evaluate the cost-benefit of its implementation. This "Promesa" program is presented as an alternative that entails a significant improvement in the quality of life for patients, guaranteeing appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The results of the patient satisfaction survey conducted among treated patients have been exceptional and highly favorable. The business plan highlights the importance of maintaining a social focus on the project, placing the well-being of patients and their right to health at the forefront. In conclusion, the proposal of the business plan demonstrates the potential that providing timely care offers to improve the quality of life for patients with complex congenital heart conditions. Simultaneously, it represents a advantageous economic opportunity for the institution, striking a balance between the essential social and economic components to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of this valuable project.
