Resumen
The present project proposes, through the logical framework methodology, a plan for the implementation of a photovoltaic solar system in the main building of the Regional Autonomous Corporation for the Defense of the Bucaramanga Plateau - CDMB, achieving the minimization of energy costs and generating a favorable environmental impact. In this context, the generation capacity of photovoltaic solar energy is diagnosed using the available area on the terraces of the building, considering the geometry and the percentage of energy to be supplied. The selection of the technology to be used, the costs associated with the project, the solar energy potential available, and the feasibility of using panels in the study area are essential elements that have been addressed. This extension work contains the analysis of those involved, the analysis of problems, objectives, and alternatives, as well as the analytical structure of the project that is summarized in the construction of the logical framework matrix. Among the results is the identification of an area of 424,684 m2 that can be used for the assembly of 84 solar panels. The estimated investment for the implementation of this project is two hundred and eighty-eight million pesos, with a payback period of 6 years. Having a photovoltaic solar system will allow the entity to produce 78,143 kWh annually, which represents 10% savings in the consumption costs of the electrical energy service. In addition to this saving, it is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 12.84 tons. This initiative, if implemented, strengthens the corporate image of the entity as a leader in innovation and environmental sustainability by contributing to the reduction of dependence on conventional energy sources and contributing to the reduction of the country's carbon footprint.
