CIMOL S.A.S is an organization dedicated to the service of the Oil, Commercial, Government and Infrastructure Industry. Taking into account the sectors in which it focuses, being a growing market, a growth has been reflected in the projects executed by the organization. However, the organization does not have structural areas that define the methodologies and guidelines for its operation that allow it to achieve better levels of performance, avoid failed projects, economic losses or loss of agility to continue responding to the competitive market. For this reason, the formulation of a plan to implement a project management office that standardizes the guidelines, processes and procedures to improve project management, in addition to mitigating the risks generated in the future, is considered strategic. In this way, the purpose of this document is to formulate an implementation plan for a PMO under the under the good practices of the PMI in the company CIMOL S.A.S using SCRUM as a framework, supported by the fulfillment of the definitive specific objectives that correspond to the diagnosis and analysis of internal and external factors made to the organization, formulate the structure of the PMO that adjusts to the dynamics of the company and finally propose the policies and documentation that allow the standardization, control and improvement of project management.This document presents the following sections: the problem statement, which sets out the context of the organization and the situations that demonstrate the existing need, the justification sets out the reasons why this analysis is valid, the objectives on which the work is focused, the theoretical framework that provides the elements and the methodology that will guide the development of the proposal, the diagnosis with the findings and the recommendations and conclusions for the design and implementation of the project office.
