Madurez investigativa y artículo Kasa Mangle: Desarrollo rural sostenible en los municipios de La Tola, Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé y Timbiquí en el Pacífico Colombiano

Abstract

In the presentation it is evident the research and social management path that makes possible the work of research maturity. It includes processes carried out within the Universidad Santo Tomás such as the seedbed De-generando los géneros and the non-institutional collective Huitacas, but also independent processes and products that arise from political and organizational community work to advance in the fight against gender violence and those populations historically excluded in our society. Regarding the article of new knowledge: Kasa Mangle: Sustainable rural development in the municipalities of La Tola, Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé and Timbiquí in the Colombian Pacific, it is evident how the rural populations of the Pacific, being mangrove farmers, are in line with sustainable rural development. The project has also strengthened the productive units of the communities and their work to protect the mangrove ecosystems and finally the learning and gender approach as important for the recognition of the role of women in the development of the communities.
