Introduction: The population of people worldwide is increasing, the aging process leads to changes in body composition such as sarcopenia and obesity, the coexistence of both factors triggers sarcopenic obesity which seriously affects the functionality and quality of life. of life, multicomponent physical exercise allows to eradicate these effects. Methodology: Non-
experimental study on the effects of a 12-week multicomponent physical exercise program (Coordination, External Load, Self-load) on body composition at three moments. Results: Significant differences in Skeletal Muscle Mass, % body fat, mineral content bone mass, trunk fat mass and inbody score. Discussion: The changes in the variables are favorable for health and in accordance with what has been published by various authors; apparently 2 days of intervention at moderate intensities achieve positive effects; The incidence of physical exercise goes far beyond improving body composition, but in the fact of generating healthy habits and physical culture in the elderly.
