Resumen
The present work was proposed to address the problem evidenced in the company Columbus Networks de Colombia S.A.S. on the direction and management of migration projects from conventional MPLS corporate networks to new network infrastructures such as networks on SD-WAN technology, where shortcomings have been found that affect crucial aspects such as the scope of the project, delivery times and even execution costs, this type of event and/or negative aspects have impacted several projects and therefore have led the company to seek proposals that mitigate the problem found in some internal processes and that help improve the results of the projects to finally achieve customer satisfaction; In this sense, the general objective was "Prepare a document of good practices for the planning and estimation of migration projects from the conventional MPLS network to SD-WAN in the Columbus Networks company, providing new connectivity characteristics to its potential clients and achieving optimize project planning processes under the SCRUM framework”. As a method, an analysis of the current situation was proposed to prepare a proposal that results in a reduction in operating expenses for some projects that ultimately mean costs for the company, some discussions have been proposed that lead us to think that the proposal can add value to the company and its clients to be able to carry out projects that were previously impacted by bad practices that had transversal repercussions during the execution of activities.
