Resumen
In Colombia, the regulations related to the use of clean energy vehicles have evolved in recent years. Currently, there are tax incentives and measures aimed at promoting the acquisition and use of these vehicles.
Among the most notable tax measures are differentiated taxes for electric vehicles and tax incentives for the production and use of biofuels. In addition, electric vehicles are exempt from circulation restrictions in cities such as Bogotá and Medellin, which encourages their use in urban areas.
The main objective of these measures is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and promote the use of clean energy. Long-term fiscal effects could include a reduction in air pollution and lower fuel bills, which could benefit both consumers and the environment.
In summary, the regulations and tax effects related to the use of clean energy vehicles in Colombia are intended to promote sustainable development and reduce negative impacts on the environment.
