Resumen
The text describes a study carried out to evaluate the concordance of the Tecnoptix Plusoptix A12C autorefractometer against Merchán's Monocular Dynamic Retinoscopy, methods used to determine ocular refraction in pediatric patients. This project is a study to evaluate diagnostic tests with a cross-sectional survey design, which used data collected from the work entitled «Reproducibility of the plusoptix a12c autorefractometer in children from 24 to 71 months of age from the magic kids nursery school and my first strokes cooperative school». Sociodemographic and clinical variables were evaluated, and concordance was assessed using the Bland Altman method. For the Autorefractometer and Dynamic Retinoscopy variables, from both eyes, the average for group 1 and 2 shows that the difference between them was not statistically significant p T test >0.05. Conclusion. the study revealed that the agreement between dynamic retinoscopy and the autorefractometer was good for the sphere, inconsistent for the cylinder, and poor for the axis.
