Resumen
A residential building design is proposed in Bucaramanga, Santander, aimed at university students and located in proximity to educational centers. Since the current housing supply does not adequately meet their requirements, presenting deficiencies in lighting, ventilation, and amenities for a pleasant and social stay.
To address these issues, the integration of social, work, and living areas is proposed through shared spaces, taking into consideration the context of university students. The project will be developed in several phases: the first phase will involve an analysis of the environment and the identification of user profile characteristics; in the second phase, two architectural typologies, Niu Coliving and Plura Coliving, will be explored, and their design components will be analyzed; in the third phase, different types of housing modules will be established to meet the needs of various types of university students; and finally, in the last phase, an architectural design will be developed to foster creativity and collaborative work among the residents.
The result will be the creation of shared spaces, such as coworking areas, game zones, laundry facilities, gym, and living rooms, which will promote interaction and collaboration in a creative environment. Likewise, different housing modules will be considered, allowing students to live and study in spatial conditions suitable for their daily activities. The main focus of the design will be to provide residents with an optimal environment that fosters both social interactions and academic success, striking a balance between privacy and functional communal areas.
