Propuesta para Aumentar la Producción en la Empresa Windoor Solutions S.A.S

Abstract

Often companies seek great competitiveness in each of its processes both direct and indirect of their products or services linked nationally and internationally. Thus, this work will address the implementation of some of the most prominent strategies in Lean Manufacturing such as: 5S, SMED, Poka Yoke, among other aspects that may favor the solution to the production problem that it has and that can contribute to the improvement and optimization of the main production line of the company Windoor Solutions SAS. The company is located in the city of Bogota in the Sotileza neighborhood of Suba, which is dedicated to the production of thermo-acoustic PVC doors and windows designed to offer innovative, efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions in construction, remodeling or replacement projects. With the help of planning and distribution in the plant, it will be possible to show reductions in displacements that many times are key factors in bottlenecks that are sources of delays. As the organization grows in sales, requests or also in production volume, it becomes necessary to emphasize a proposal that focuses on the non-fulfillment of sales and their decline. With the analysis it will be possible to identify work areas according to their relevance through diagrams that will support decision making and the development of the project following an initial diagnosis and proposals that allow to establish a decrease in congestion and accumulation of material in process.
