dc.description.abstractOne of the strategic functions of the human management area is what is known as staff retention. The foregoing, considering that a constant rotation of personnel directly affects the economic resources of a company, by generating an increase in its costs through the process of incorporating new personnel. In this way, a valuable administrative resource is forged by having to start again the process of selection, hiring and training of this personnel, increasing the costs and the time necessary for the optimal performance of the position to be filled. Starting from this idea, through the present investigation it is sought to determine those causes that cause the turnover of the personnel in the company Matanga Burger during the year 2021 specifically, in such a way that it is possible to suggest effective mechanisms that allow its identification and the mitigation of this problematic. To fulfill this purpose, phenomenological research and the descriptive method were chosen.
