Abstract

[Espa?ol] La enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal (EII) afecta hasta el 0,5 % de la poblaci?n mundial comprende tanto la enfermedad de Crohn (EC) como la colitis ulcerativa (CU). Es com?n la aparici?n de manifestaciones musculoesquel?ticas entre las cuales se encuentran las reum?ticas bajo el nombre de espondiloartritis, pudiendo afectar del 2 al 46 por ciento de los pacientes con EII. 1,2 Las espondiloartritis (SpA) son un grupo de enfermedades reum?ticas inflamatorias que tienen una prevalencia entre 0,5 % y 1,5 % en la poblaci?n general, con importantes diferencias raciales y geogr?ficas, siendo m?s com?n en masculinos j?venes, cauc?sicos, con una relaci?n cuatro a uno hombres y mujeres respectivamente. 5,6 La actualizaci?n en el 2019 del grupo OMERACT (por sus siglas en ingl?s Outcome Measures in Rheumatology) ?entesitis? abarca la inserci?n hipoecoica y / o engrosada del tend?n (a 2 mm de la corteza ?sea) que exhibe se?al doppler si est? activa y puede mostrar erosiones y / o entesofitos como signo de da?o estructura y el ?ndice sonografico de entesitis de Madrid, MASEI (por su sigla en ingl?s Madrid Sonographic Entesis Index) es el m?s completo hasta ahora y el ?nico basado en la definici?n OMERACT de entesopat?a.
