This work focus on three matters very important in the life of a human being who is in development education, children education and literacy. Among those items, in this work, it is analysed the relationship between the two last ones. It is emphasized the importance of children education that focus on the quality, in which the child is able to learn when is playing, singing, creating, dramatizing, exchanging experiences and interacting with the world around. That is, it is important that the child could develop as a global human being. Therefore, it is not possible to deny to the child her contact with the literate world, since there are letters and numbers every where and since very early she gets in contact with that world, independently the family or school will. It is necessary to understand that there is no right moment for the literacy process starts, as well as it is not just a process of learning how to write and read; on the contrary, it is responsible for the awareness of a literate person who, besides dominating writing and reading, must be responsible for his/her actions and who should interact and construct a better world to live in. Hence, it is possible to verify that literacy is a process that starts even before the child to attend to school and it is not dependent on the development stage in which she is. Concerning children education, it is necessary to worry about how to deal with the acquisition of the learning and writing process, taking in consideration children’s time and curiosity. It is important does not force that process and to dedicate it the attention required, since it is extremely important to the child development as a bio-psico-socio-cultural human being.
