dc.description.abstractUnderstanding fashion as a vehicle that transforms and elaborates identities, this article seeks to analyze how the fashion plus size presents, produces and reproduces the body patterns of feminine beauty. Using ethnographic research in the fashion market in the south of Brazil and thinking about notions of representation of the fat body, bringing thematic as a stigmatization and lack of representativeness. I propose an analisis of images disclosed in websites selling fashion plus size, the images and data were taken through observation and participated with plus size models and consumers of this niche.
