| dc.description.abstract | Currently, solutions for problem of increase of workers demand who are passing through a psychic
illness in their labor activities have been searched more often. The aim of the research is to clarify with
a literature review like, books, articles paper and means of collect, about the workers’ health issue and
stress psychological, plus the occupational therapy intervation. Methodologically, the study is based
on a literature review that is about a descriptive analysis of the descriptors: health, work and stress
psychological. After that, there was an analysis of the descriptors’ records and the theories
interpretations. Therefore we concluded, reading which were did to the construction of this study that
the sickness of workers happens because of intrinsic and extrinsic factors related to the labor activity
developed by them, and the factors can be demonstrate by afflictions in the physical, mental and
social health of workers. Thus, the importance of occupational therapist is perceptible in the cares of
the workers’ health because the professional is able to promote
health and social, disease prevention, rehabilitation of physical and mental health, re-education of
