This article has the general objective to analyze the reality of women users of psychoactive substances and their determinations and as specific objectives to understand how the mediations that explain the abusive use of drugs among women in contemporary times, as well as to analyze the gender determinations in the reality of these women, in the light of an analysis of the intertwining between capitalism, patriarchy and racism in the production of the “social question” in Brazil. Finally, to survey productions within Social Work on drug abuse among women, using the Marxist theoretical-methodological perspective and the critical materialist perspective. As an object of bibliographic research, the works published at the XVI Brazilian Congress of Social Workers - CBAS, in 2019, and the XVII Brazilian Congress of Social Workers - CBAS, in 2022, will be used, with the search made from the following keywords: women, users and drugs. The research conclusions indicate the existence and relevance of production on the subject within the scope of the profession, the main topics addressed, and the importance of this contribution to the debate on the issue, in view of the critical social direction of the production of knowledge in Social Work Brazilian.Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - TCC tem como objetivo geral analisar a realidade das mulheres usuárias de substâncias psicoativas e suas determinações e como objetivos específicos compreender como as mediações que explicam o uso abusivo de drogas entre as mulheres na contemporaneidade, assim como também analisar as determinações de gênero na realidade destas mulheres, à luz de uma análise da imbricação entre capitalismo, patriarcado e racismo na produção da “questão social” no Brasil. O estudo pautou-se, no levantamento das produções dentro do Serviço Social sobre o abuso de drogas entre as mulheres, utilizando a perspectiva teórico-metodológica marxista e a perspectiva feminista crítica materialista. Como objeto de pesquisa bibliográfica, foram utilizados os trabalhos publicados no XVI Congresso Brasileiro de Assistente Social - CBAS, em 2019, e o XVII Congresso Brasileiro de Assistente Social - CBAS, em 2022, com a busca feita a partir das seguintes palavras-chave (descritores): mulheres, usuárias e drogas. As conclusões da pesquisa indicam a existência e relevância da produção sobre o tema no âmbito da profissão, os principais temas abordados, e a importância desta contribuição para o debate sobre a questão, tendo em vista a direção social crítica da produção do conhecimento do Serviço Social brasileiro.
