Considering that the exercise of teaching requires constant improvement and willingness, and that it is not easy to educate Children's, this Course Completion Work aimed to generate a guide of methodologies for a work with Children's Literature, using, reading, storytelling and dramatization as tools. Since listening to stories allows the teacher to stimulate his students in different ways, developing skills related to drawing, thinking, imagining, playing, reading and writing, because texts has the potential to give wings to imagination and stimulate learning. (ABRAMOVICH, 1994). For the basis of this work, a bibliographic survey was carried out about what is in the literature on the subject, in addition to interviews with teachers of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education of Escola Municipal Professora Valdemir Fernandes de Medeiros – Jucurutu/RN, seeking to identify their real needs, in order to produce work that is really useful and suited to their needs. This is a qualitative research, based on the methodology of participant research, a methodological modality that involves the researched subjects in the process of analysis of their own reality. The analysis of the interviews made it possible to identify a general profile of the professors, making it possible to observe their difficulties and desires in relation to working with literature, also bringing reflection on the motivation of their responses, considering being a professor beyond the professional. It is expected that the guide will have positive impacts on the perceptions and on the actions of those involved in the research, that they will feel encouraged and welcomed to seek improving their skills and knowledge.Considerando que o exercício da docência exige um constante aprimoramento e disposição e, que não é fácil educar crianças, este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso objetivou gerar um guia de metodologias para o trabalho com a Literatura Infantil, usando como ferramentas a leitura, contação e teatralização de histórias. Uma vez que ouvir histórias permite que o professor estimule o seu aluno de diferentes formas, desenvolvendo habilidades relacionadas a desenhar, pensar, imaginar, brincar, ler e escrever, pois textos têm potencial para dar asas à imaginação e estimular a aprendizagem (ABRAMOVICH, 1994). Para a fundamentação deste trabalho foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico acerca do que há na literatura sobre a temática, além de entrevistas com professores da Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental da Escola Municipal Professora Valdemir Fernandes de Medeiros – Jucurutu/RN, buscando identificar suas reais necessidades, a fim de produzir um trabalho que seja realmente útil e adequando ao que buscam. Esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa, baseada na metodologia de pesquisa participante, modalidade metodológica que envolve os sujeitos pesquisados no processo de análise da sua própria realidade. A análise das entrevistas permitiu identificar um perfil geral dos docentes, possibilitando observar suas dificuldades e desejos com relação ao trabalho com literatura, trazendo também reflexão sobre a motivação de suas respostas, considerando o ser professor para além do profissional. Espera-se que a partir do guia sejam alcançados impactos positivos tanto nas percepções como nas ações dos envolvidos na pesquisa, que estes sintam-se incentivados e acolhidos a buscarem aprimorar suas habilidades e conhecimentos.
