In this work I expose a journey of research that began in the first contact I had with the Theater of the Oppressed, spreading throughout my existence and lasting until today. In this way, all the experiences in the classroom, each sincere encounter with the students, will be put into words, as well as the lack I felt of specific classes on Theater of the Oppressed in the degree course in theater at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. (UFRN). In the wake of this, I sought to reflect in this TCC on the impacts that the encounter with Augusto Boal's pedagogical propositions, inspired by Paulo Freire's theorizations, had on my construction process as a teacher, emphasizing the interpersonal relationships that are established in a classroom . To do so, I traced a path of three chapters that metaphorically allude to the growth of a tree, where my teaching experiences will be inserted in different contexts: in the Supervised Internship of Teacher Training, in workshops that I gave at the IFRN Campus Mossoró, and in the Complexo de Saúde Professor Severino Lopes (CSPSL), also encompassing personal artistic experiences that happened simultaneously with my teaching activities. Going through such analytical reports, I emphasize the importance of exploring the Theater of the Oppressed in facing oppression, as well as the need for its practices, which provided opportunities for a deeper encounter in the relationship with the students.Neste trabalho exponho uma jornada de pesquisa que começou no primeiro contato que tive com o Teatro do Oprimido, difundindo-se em minha existência e perdurando-se até hoje. De tal modo, estarão colocadas em palavras todas as vivências em sala de aula, cada encontro sincero com os alunos, como também a falta que senti de aulas específicas sobre Teatro do Oprimido no curso de licenciatura em teatro da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Na esteira disso, busquei refletir nesse TCC sobre os impactos que o encontro com as proposições pedagógicas de Augusto Boal, inspiradas nas teorizações de Paulo Freire, teve no meu processo de construção enquanto docente, enfatizando as relações interpessoais que se estabelecem em uma sala de aula. Para tanto, tracei um caminho de três capítulos que metaforicamente fazem alusão ao crescimento de uma árvore, onde estarão inseridas minhas experiências docentes em diferentes contextos: no Estágio Supervisionado de Formação de Professores, em oficinas que ministrei no IFRN Campus Mossoró, e no Complexo de Saúde Professor Severino Lopes (CSPSL), englobando, também, experiências artísticas pessoais que aconteciam simultaneamente à minha atuação docente. Atravessando tais relatos analíticos, ressalto a importância da exploração do Teatro do Oprimido no enfrentamento às opressões, bem como a necessidade de suas práticas, que oportunizaram um encontro mais aprofundado na relação com os alunos.
