Os fundos de investimento em capital de risco têm tido responsabilidade direta em tornar o Brasil uma referência de tecnologia na América Latina, chamando cada vez mais a atenção de empreendedores e investidores. Com isso, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar, por meio de entrevistas e uma revisão de documentação e literatura, o processo de tomada de decisão de um fundo de venture capital, para realizar investimentos em startups de base tecnológica. Ao finalizar, foram validados o processo e os critérios utilizados, pelo fundo em análise, para realizar um investimento com o maior potencial de retorno.With the growth in the number of startups in Brazil, the question of who are the influencing and responsible agents for this very expressive result arises. Venture capital investment funds have had a direct responsibility into Brazil become a reference in technology in Latin America, increasingly drawing the attention of entrepreneurs and investors. Thus, this work aims to analyze, through interviews and a review of documentation and literature, the decision-making process of a venture capital fund, to make investments in technology-based startups. At the end, the process and criteria used by the fund under analysis to validate an investment with the greatest potential for return were validated.
