dc.description.abstract | This monograph entitled Amapaense Railway (EFA), the legacy of iron ore: the railway rehabilitation project for transport and tourism purposes is the result of study on the Railroad Amapaense (EFA) and its station located in Santana / AP, bringing new features and applications to space. The equipment that has represented important moments for the economy and for the history of the state, established in 1957, is not functioning at the time, leaving gaps in the mobility of the population and causing financial losses for some workers classes. In the municipality of Santana is scarce the existence of green areas, important sites for the urban landscape, social life and climatic balance instrument. The design intent is to unify these three properties and turn them into alternatives for the population, increasing environmental structure, improving the quality of life and encouraging tourism. Considering local needs and interest in a project that combines the railroad, the train station and the park, so that possibly may include a new type of economy through tourism, concepts were researched and emphasized the related empirical study the architectural design development stages to achieve solutions to current problems. The introduction of these ideas and steps reconciled with the development of a project for a new railway station and other architectural devices, will serve as infrastructure tool and social interaction. | |
