dc.description.abstract | In order to choose a photovoltaic system with the lowest possible time of return on investment (payback) coupled with a possible use of the new tariff modality established by the National Electric Energy Agency, called white tariff, this work appears. Through the elaboration of three scenarios in which in the first case, the residential consumer chooses the conventional tariff combined with an on-grid photovoltaic system, in the second case chooses to change the conventional tariff to white combined with an on-grid system and finally uses the white tariff with an off-grid system, which only meets the demand for intermediate and peak energy consumption. Through economic indicators such as NPV (Net Present Value) and payback, it was possible to estimate the amounts possibly saved and how long it took the implementation of photovoltaic systems to give rise to a return or show that there was no return to the consumer. Finally, it was observed that in the first scenario the payback was 3.7 years, making it the most attractive option for implementing the system among the three situations. | |
