Este trabajo de investigaci?n propone un modelo para almacenamiento de productos empleados en las operaciones de la compa??a SAAE de Aracruz (Brasil) a trav?s del an?lisis de la gesti?n de inventarios y la manutenci?n de los materiales. En cuanto al enfoque, el estudio se clasifica como cuantitativo, pues tiene como prop?sito recolectar datos acerca del movimiento y organizaci?n de los materiales del almac?n de SAAE. Dentro del estudio se aplic? un modelo de jerarquizaci?n a trav?s de la curva ABC, que permiti? reubicar art?culos del almac?n ahorrando un estimado de 1.600 desplazamientos. De igual forma, para la formulaci?n de la estrategia operativa se implementaron t?cnicas como el estudio de m?todos, con el que se identific? que el encargado del almac?n implementa alrededor del 73% de su tiempo realizando trabajo administrativo, por lo que se descuidaban algunas tareas dentro del almac?n. Finalmente, a trav?s de la filosof?a de las 5?s de la calidad, se presentaron algunas propuestas con las que se busca mejorar la organizaci?n y productividad delThis research project proposes a model for storage of products used in the operations of SAAE (company in Aracruz - Brazil) through the analysis of inventory management and materials maintenance. Regarding the approach, the study is classified as quantitative, since it has the purpose of collecting data about the movement and organization of SAAE warehouse materials. Within the study, a hierarchy model was applied through the ABC analysis, which allowed for the relocation of items, saving an estimated 1.600 trips within the warehouse. Similarly, for the formulation of the operational strategy techniques were implemented such as the study of methods, with which it was identified that the store manager implements about 73% of his time doing paperwork, so that some tasks were neglected within from the warehouse. Finally, through the 5s Methodology, some proposals were presented with which it seeks to improve the organization and productivity of the warehouse.
