La presente investigaci?n tuvo como objetivo caracterizar la cadena inversa vinculada a la recuperaci?n de llantas usadas en la ciudad de Ibagu?. La caracterizaci?n requiri? analizar los aspectos relevantes que intervienen en el dise?o como: el conocimiento de la legislaci?n vigente para la disposici?n de este tipo de residuos, la cual est? consagrada en la Resoluci?n 1326 de 2017 del Ministerio de Ambiente y sus modificaciones, los actores que intervienen en los diferentes eslabones, entre los que se encuentran los generadores de llantas usadas, la descripci?n de las pr?cticas de recolecci?n, el almacenamiento, el destino de los residuos y la disposici?n final. El objetivo general se alcanz? al desarrollar tres objetivos espec?ficos. El primero se orienta a la descripci?n de la legislaci?n vigente en el pa?s para la disposici?n de este residuo y la b?squeda de aspectos relevantes para desarrollar la investigaci?n. El segundo est? relacionado con la estimaci?n de llantas usadas que se generan en la ciudad de Ibagu?, los flujos que siguen y la identificaci?n de los actores que intervienen en cada punto de la cadena. Finalmente, el tercer objetivo, consiste en realizar un diagn?stico que permita dimensionar la problem?tica existente de tipo ambiental, social y econ?mica en la cadena de recuperaci?n mediante el an?lisis de la informaci?n recolectada y por medio del trabajo de campo en el desarrollo de la investigaci?n.The purpose of this research proposal wais to characterize the reverse chain linked to the recovery of used tires in the Ibagu? city. The characterization required analyzing the relevant aspects involved in the design such as: knowledge of current legislation for the disposal of this type of waste, which is enshrined in Resolution 1326 of 2017 of the Ministry of Environment and its modifications, the actors that they intervene in the different links, among which are the used tire generators, the description of the collection practices, the storage, the destination of the waste and the final disposal. The overall objective will be achieved by developing three specific objectives. The first is oriented to the description of the legislation in force in the country for the disposal of this waste and the search for relevant aspects to develop the investigation. The second is related to the estimation of used tires that are generated in the city of Ibagu?, the flows that follow and the identification of the actors involved in each point of the chain. Finally, the third objective is to carry out a diagnosis that allows for the sizing of the existing environmental, social and economic problems in the recovery chain through the analysis of the information collected and through the field work in the development of the research.
