Trabajo de investigaci?n titulado procesos de comunicaci?n de la poblaci?n artesana de Ibagu?: estudio de caso. Esta indagaci?n da a conocer los procesos comunicativos que existen entre los artesanos de esta ciudad y con las entidades gubernamentales y privadas encargadas del sector artesanal. Tambi?n se logr? caracterizar la comunidad artesana, a partir de herramientas de investigaci?n como cartograf?a social, entrevistas, diario de campo y rastreo de medios. Por lo anterior, se identific? cuantos artesanos hay en Ibagu?, rango de edades, ubicaci?n de sus lugares de trabajo y los diferentes tipos de productos artesanales que se encuentran en la ciudad. Al final de esta investigaci?n se lograron establecer una serie de recomendaciones para la consolidaci?n de un gremio artesanal y el mejoramiento de sus pr?cticas comunicativas.Research work entitled communication processes of the artisan population of Ibagu?: case study. This inquiry reveals the communicative processes that exist among the artisans of this city and with the governmental and private entities in charge of the artisanal sector. It was also possible to characterize the artisan community, based on research tools such as social cartography, interviews, field diary and media tracking. Therefore, it was identified how many artisans there are in Ibagu?, age range, location of their workplaces and the different types of artisan products found in the city. At the end of this investigation, a series of recommendations were established for the consolidation of an artisan guild and the improvement of its communicative practices.
