La zona sur del departamento del Tolima es un lugar donde la actividad econ?mica se ve reflejada mayormente en la agricultura y ganader?a, lo que conlleva a que, si hay cambios dr?sticos en el suelo, estas actividades podr?an tener consecuencias denigrantes. Estas alteraciones pueden ser producidas por agentes clim?ticos, sociales o antr?picos, donde afecta la flora y la fauna del lugar. En este trabajo se analiz? los 6 municipios pertenecientes a esta zona (donde incluye los siguientes municipios: Alpujarra, Ataco, Dolores, Natagaima, Rio blanco y Planadas), de tal manera que se evidenciaron los cambios que ha sufrido la cobertura vegetal mediante el uso de im?genes NDVI, utilizando el Sistema de Informaci?n Geogr?fica (SIG) ArcMap para as? obtener un mapa de cambios mediante la combinaci?n de los mismos con el objetivo de categorizar el cambio de la cobertura vegetal, determinar la variabilidad espacial y temporal del comportamiento vegetativo y distinguir los tipos de coberturas de la zona. Finalmente, los resultados obtenidos muestran la variabilidad vegetativa a causa de los factores antrop?logos y clim?ticos que han afectado la zona de manera positiva en ?poca de lluvia, pero tambi?n negativamente en verano. Por otro lado, las im?genes satelitales se ven afectadas por la nubosidad que generan un cambio de la realidad de la imagen alterando as? el resultado real.The southern area of the department of Tolima is a place where economic activity is mostly reflected in agriculture and livestock, which leads to a change in the soil, these activities have degrading consequences. These alterations can be produced by climatic, social or anthropic agents, where the flora and fauna of the place are found. In this work we analyzed the 6 municipalities corresponding to this area (which includes the following municipalities: Alpujarra, Ataco, Dolores, Natagaima, R?o Blanco and Planadas), in such a way that the changes that have had the vegetal coverage through the use of NDVI images, using the Geographic Information System (GIS) ArcMap to obtain a map of changes by combining them with the objective of categorizing the change in vegetation cover, determining the spatial and temporal variability of vegetative behavior and distinguish the types of coverage in the area. Finally, the results have been reflected in the vegetative variability due to the anthropological and climatic factors that have affected the area in a positive way during the rainy season, but also negatively in the summer. On the other hand, satellite images are also seen by the cloudiness that produces a change in the reality of the image, thus altering the real result.
