En el siguiente documento se presenta el resultado de una exhaustiva revisi?n bibliogr?fica relacionada con el dise?o de rutas bajo el enfoque del problema de ruteo de veh?culos y su aplicabilidad en el dise?o de cadenas de abastecimiento, que se expone y analiza mediante el desarrollo de tres cap?tulos. En el primero de ellos se constituye una base te?rica que permite identificar los conceptos fundamentales del Problema de Ruteo de Veh?culos, principal herramienta para el dise?o de rutas en la investigaci?n operativa y en el sector industrial en la actualidad, a trav?s del an?lisis de su evoluci?n hist?rica y paralelamente de las distintas variantes que contempla este m?todo. En el segundo cap?tulo, con el objetivo de consolidar la informaci?n propuesta inicialmente, se realiza la caracterizaci?n de cinco casos reales propuestos en la literatura donde se aplican diferentes variantes fundamentadas en la t?cnica base de la investigaci?n. Finalmente, en el tercer cap?tulo se realiza la identificaci?n de los aspectos relevantes del Problema de Ruteo de Veh?culos para el dise?o de un sistema de recolecci?n; adem?s de la situaci?n actual de la ciudad de Ibagu? respecto a estos componentes, de forma tal que con base en informaci?n de distintas entidades pertinentes se procede a realizar diferentes proposiciones. Todo lo anterior, con el fin de establecer un conjunto consolidado de informaci?n que sea de utilidad para el proyecto matriz y para dar cumplimiento a los objetivos planteados para esta asistencia de investigaci?n.The following document presents the result of an exhaustive bibliographical review related to the design of routes under the approach of the problem of vehicle routing and its applicability in the design of supply chains, which is exposed and analyzed through the development of three chapters. In the first of them, a theoretical basis is constituted that allows to identify the fundamental concepts of the Vehicle Routing Problem, the main tool for the design of routes in operational research and in the industrial sector at present, through the analysis of its evolution historical and parallel of the different variants that this method contemplates. In the second chapter, with the objective of consolidating the information initially proposed, the characterization of five real cases proposed in the literature is carried out, where different variants based on the basic technique of the research are applied. In the third chapter, the identification of the relevant aspects of the vehicle routing issues for the design of a collection system is carried out; in addition to the current situation of the city of Ibagu? with respect to these components, in such a way that based on information from different relevant entities, different proposals are made. All of the above, in order to establish a consolidated set of information that is useful for the main project and to comply with the objectives set for this research assistance that are referenced below.
