La enseñanza de la enfermería en tiempos de pandemia. El caso de la licenciatura en la provincia de Río Negro: entre la exigencia institucional y las demandas sociales

Abstract

La pandemia por COVID 19 permitió la renovación de históricas demandas del colectivo enfermero de la provincia de Río Negro. Las voces de estudiantes y docentes de la Licenciatura en enfermería que se dicta en el Centro Universitario Regional Zona Atlántica de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue lograron mayor audibilidad a partir de un suceso particular: la decisión del Rectorado de suspender las inscripciones para el ciclo lectivo 2022. Reclamos viejos y nuevos se fusionaron cuando la demanda de profesionales de la enfermería alcanzó su pico histórico. Conocer y comprender el carácter de las peticiones realizadas por la comunidad educativa del CURZA, exige reconstruir el proceso histórico que derivó en la incorporación de la carrera a la universidad, así como también, identificar las particularidades que tiene la enseñanza de la formación enfermera en Río Negro. En el presente trabajo, se exponen algunos datos construidos a partir del relevamiento de la prensa escrita, de documentos elaborados por organismos estatales y de informes de cátedra. El objetivo es reconocer las desigualdades (estructurales y coyunturales) que atraviesan a la enseñanza de la enfermería, las cuales han emergido a la superficie durante la pandemia, para reflexionar sobre posibles caminos a seguir.

The COVID 19 pandemic allowed the renewal of historical demands of the nursing group in the province of Río Negro. The voices of students and teachers of the Bachelor of Nursing taught at the Atlantic Zone Regional University Center of the National University of Comahue achieved greater audibility from a particular event: the decision of the Rectorate to suspend enrollment for the 2022 school year old and new claims merged at a time when the demand for nursing professionals reached an all-time high. Knowing and understanding the nature of the requests made by the educational community of CURZA, requires reconstructing the historical process that led to the incorporation of the career to the university, as well as identifying the particularities that the teaching of nursing training in Rio Negro. In the present work, some data constructed from the survey of the written press, of documents elaborated by state organisms and of chair reports are exposed. The objective is to recognize the inequalities (structural and conjunctural) that cross the teaching of nursing, which have emerged to the surface during the pandemic, to reflect on possible paths to follow.
