dc.descriptionRESUMEN: Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los significados que puedan identificarse en las narrativas construidas por las mujeres del municipio de Carepa frente a la vivencia de la violencia de género, los modos de superarla y los procesos de transformación por los que atraviesan. El estudio sigue un enfoque cualitativo, con diseño fenomenológico bajo la modalidad de un estudio de caso. Para el desarrollo del mismo se empleó la entrevista semi estructurada como instrumento de recolección de la información que fue analizada posteriormente mediante el análisis narrativo. En sus resultados se encontraron narrativas orientadas a la tipología de la violencia de género, actores que la perpetuaban y antecedentes de contextos de violencia. También se identificaron y analizaron significados construidos por las participantes que les permitía comprender la forma en que historia de violencia se había presentado, las secuelas que dejaba y los modos de transformación que habían experimentado a partir de desvincularse de sus agresores. Se concluye que las mujeres pueden experimentar hasta tres tipos distintos de violencia de género y que el campo que más identifican y sobre el cuál se prologa su experiencia es bajo la violencia doméstica por parte de quienes habían sido sus parejas sentimentales. Finalmente, se espera que esta investigación pueda propiciar espacios de réplica a futuro.
dc.descriptionABSTRACT: The objective of this research was to analyze the meanings that can be identified in the narratives constructed by the women of the municipality of Carepa in front of the experience of gender violence, the ways of overcoming it and the transformation processes they go through. The study follows a qualitative approach, with a phenomenological design under the modality of a case study. For its development, the semi-structured interview was used as an instrument for collecting information that was subsequently analyzed through narrative analysis. In its results, narratives oriented to the typology of gender violence, actors who perpetuated it and antecedents of contexts of violence were found. Meanings constructed by the participants were also identified and analyzed, which allowed them to understand the way in which the history of violence had been presented, the consequences it left behind and the modes of transformation they had experienced after disassociating themselves from their aggressors. It is concluded that women can experience up to three different types of gender-based violence and that the field that they identify the most and on which their experience extends is under domestic violence by those who had been their sentimental partners. Finally, it is expected that this research can provide spaces for future replication.
