RESUMEN: El objetivo del presente trabajo es dar a conocer los resultados de la investigación sobre estilos de enseñanza en la Universidad de Antioquia, en la cual se acogió una muestra de 282 docentes y 4503 estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario de 60 ítems. Dichos docentes y estudiantes pertenecen a 32 programas de la Universidad, representativos de las áreas de salud, ciencias, sociales y una muestra especial de la Facultad de Educación. Los cursos seleccionados para aplicar los instrumentos fueron representativos de cada uno de los programas y de los 10 semestres académicos en que está distribuido el plan curricular de dichos programas. Como conclusión, se puede advertir que en la Universidad de Antioquia no existen docentes solo Magistrales, o solo Mediacionales o solo Tutoriales y que las calificaciones de sus estudiantes tampoco indican que éstos tengan características de solo alguno de los estilos, aunque en algunos casos tiendan más a alguno de ellos. Esta investigación surge además como una extensión de la investigación sobre estilos pedagógicos del grupo Invedusa de la Universidad Sergio Arboleda.ABSTARCT: The aim of the present document is to publish the results obtained from the investigation about teaching styles at the University of Antioquia, which hosted a sample of 4503 teachers and 282 students who answered a questionnaire of 60 items. The above mentioned teachers and students were from 32 different university programs, representing the health, science and social science fields, as well as a special sample group from the School of Education. The courses selected to implement each of the instruments were representative of each of the programs, and were executed throughout the 10 academic semesters established by the curricular Plan of each program. As a conclusion, it can be stated that the University of Antioquia there are not only Lecture teachers, mediator teachers or advisor teachers; and the student`s evaluations do not indicate that they have the characteristics of only one teaching styles; although in some occasions, they have a more inclined tendency to some of them. This research study comes as an extension on the investigation on teaching styles undergone by the Research group Invedusa of the Sergio Arboleda University.COL0001398
