El presente trabajo de investigación, tiene como principal objetivo determinar la incidencia del ruido laboral en los trastornos del oído en los trabajadores de la empresa MINERA HOLDING SAN MARTIN S.A.S. Los trabajadores del sector minero pueden desarrollar enfermedades en el oído, que muchas veces son irreparables tras la exposición a los altos niveles de ruido. Se hablará de las estrategias y medidas de control que permiten disminuir los impactos en la salud auditiva de los trabajadores, el porqué de la implementación del SG-SST permite tener un control más preciso sobre las medidas impuestas por la empresa y dar el respectivo cumplimiento de la normatividad establecida por las autoridades correspondientes a nivel nacional y departamental. Para dar inicio se caracterizó socio demográficamente y se identificaron las condiciones de salud de los trabajadores de la empresa minera HOLDING SAN MARTIN S.A.S, llevando a cabo la aplicación de una encuesta que permite la recolección de datos de los trabajadores de la organización y se encuentra la ausencia de Elementos de Protección Personal, la deficiencia en la toma de exámenes de audiometrías y las molestias que presentan los trabajadores. Se hace el análisis de la información recolectada, evidenciando la problemática en las condiciones inseguras, conociendo los efectos y las consecuencias que se pueden desencadenar debido a la falta de controles, posteriormente se analizan aquellas actividades generadoras de ruido en el sector de la minería, conociendo los valores límites permisibles a los cuales se pueden exponer durante su jornada laboral y de este modo se propone un programa de promoción y prevención, para minimizar los impactos del ruido en la salud de los oídos, donde se escribe etapa por etapa aquellas actividades que se deben implementar al ingreso de cada trabajador y durante el tiempo que este en la organización, como realizar inducción y reinducción de la población trabajadora, el mantenimiento de máquinas y equipos, la toma de exámenes médicos, la entrega de Elementos de Protección Personal, pausas activas, entre otras.1.0. Workers in the mining sector can develop ear diseases, which are often irreparable after exposure to high noise levels. The analysis of the information collected is made, evidencing the problem in unsafe conditions, knowing the effects and consequences that can be triggered due to the lack of controls, later those activities that generate noise in the mining sector are analyzed, knowing the permissible limit values ​​to which they can be exposed during their workday and in this way a promotion and prevention program is proposed, to minimize the impacts of noise on the health of the ears, where those activities that are must implement upon entry of each worker and during the time they are in the organization, such as induction and reinduction of the working population, maintenance of machines and equipment, taking medical exams, delivery of Personal Protection Elements, active breaks , among other.
