Resumen
Plastic injection molds are designed in most scenarios for high production, with high costs and manufacturing times in which validation and verification processes are required to obtain a product. At present, Additive Manufacturing (AM) applications - 3D printing of digital models - do not offer the desired final object in a 100% assertive way, but it is these same technologies that, applied with other strategies, allow us possibilities to experiment in the manufacturing process. development of plastic products in the face of greater complexity and competitiveness. For this, inserts were manufactured in AM (SLA) and a quick-change mold was used, where the final product was obtained with the material, shape and functionality in reduced times and costs compared to the conventional process, with opportunities to fine-tune the procedures applied. ; integration between AM and CM (Conventional Manufacturing) to obtain inserts with greater precision and better results in order to use them in a process in industrial settings.
