dc.description.abstractEste libro pretende introducir los conceptos básicos necesarios para en- tender los procesos químicos desde el punto de vista de las leyes de la naturaleza que conocemos a principios del siglo xxi. En este libro se entiende ley como un hecho o concepto científico que es transversal a todas las áreas de las ciencias naturales y que hasta ahora se mantiene vigente, es decir, no se han encontrado hechos que vayan en contra de él. Las leyes de la naturaleza, básicamente, están agrupadas en las teorías cuántica, termodinámica estadística, de la relatividad, electrodinámica clásica y cuántica (que incluye la óptica y el electromagnetismo), y la mecánica clásica. Desde el punto de vista de la química vamos a hablar de la teoría cinético-molecular de la materia. (texto tomado de la fuente)
