dc.description.abstract | La normativa colombiana referente a la producción audiovisual ha creado un escenario favorable para la industria audiovisual en el país, y con ello surge una oportunidad de mercado. Sin embargo, en Colombia hay más de 750 empresas productoras, de las cuales solo 21 han accedido a estos beneficios, esta brecha podría ser considerada como una señal de alerta en la medida en que no se están aprovechando las oportunidades (Proimagenes, 2022; CCB; 2021).
Por ello, y teniendo en cuenta que los desarrollos teóricos de la estrategia enfocados en la industria en el país son pocos, surgió la necesidad de analizar el sector audiovisual y hacer un aporte desde la estrategia para entender esta brecha.
Se planteó el objetivo de caracterizar las fuentes de ventaja competitiva sostenible que poseen las empresas del sector audiovisual en Colombia y puntualmente la empresa AG STUDIOS COLOMBIA.
La investigación se desarrolló desde un enfoque descriptivo y se recurrió a métodos mixtos. Además, debido al tamaño del sector y las limitaciones de tiempo, la estrategia de aproximación al fenómeno fue el estudio de caso.
Se halló que el entorno crea un escenario favorable para AG STUDIOS, pero con retos debido al alto grado de competencia que ha ingresado en el mercado en los últimos años, sin embargo, tomando ciertas medidas a nivel estratégico y operativo podrán no solo seguir creciendo al ritmo que lo han hecho, sino potenciar ese crecimiento y generar un desempeño superior a sus competidores, es decir alcanzar y mantener una ventaja competitiva sostenible. dc.description.abstract | Colombian regulations regarding audiovisual production have created a favorable scenario for the audiovisual industry in the country, and with it a market opportunity arises. However, in Colombia there are more than 750 production companies, of which only 21 have accessed these benefits, this gap could be considered a warning sign due that opportunities are not being taken advantage of (Proimagenes, 2022; CCB ;2021).
For this reason and considering that the theoretical developments of the strategy focused on the industry in the country are few, the need arose to analyze the audiovisual sector and contribute from the strategy to understand this gap.
The objective was characterizing the sources of sustainable competitive advantage in companies in the audiovisual sector in Colombia and specifically in the company AG STUDIOS COLOMBIA.
The research was developed from a descriptive approach and mixed methods were used. In addition, due to the size of the sector and time constraints, the approach strategy to the phenomenon was the case study.
It was found that the environment creates a favorable scenario for AG STUDIOS, but with challenges due to the high degree of competition that has entered the market in recent years, however, by taking certain measures at a strategic and operational level, they will not only be able to continue growing at the same rate that they have done, but to boost that growth and generate a superior performance over their competitors, that is, to achieve and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. | |
