Resumen
The objective of the curriculum integration work was to develop a web system to measure the degree of withholding information in the students with attention deficit disorder (ADD) in children among 7 to 9 years old of the Unidad Educativa “Rio Quevedo, which is located in the Province of Los Ríos. The institution has 334 students approximately. We gathered the information using the observation technique, we used the interview with the teachers as well the psychology of the institution. We developed the system with Laravel framework, using the architecture model, view, controller (MVC). We made the graphical interface using Bootstrap; besides, the use of the MySQL database manager and we used XP as an agile development methodology. We carried out a diagnostic evaluation on the students of the institution, obtaining as a result an average score of 6,52 / 10. After that, we carried out another test using the web system on the same students, obtaining an average score of 9,17 / 10, improving their academic performance with an increase of 2,46 points in the final average grade. Considering the relation between academic performance and the learning in the children, we determined that there is an increase in the student learning of the Unidad Educativa “Rio Quevedo. To measure the usability of the system, we applied the SUS test to both children and teachers of the institution, 80.2% of participants are satisfied because they were able to perform the tasks in a simple way. The students also answered the DSM IV Test and the results showed that 66.6% have a medium probability of suffering from ADD and 33.3% have a low probability of having ADD.
