Modelo de integración sensorial en recién nacidos prematuros

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se determinaron las disfunciones del procesamiento sensorial en un grupo de niños prematuros (menores de 37 semanas de edad gestacional) pertenecientes al programa de Plan canguro del Hospital Universitario de Guayaquil, con el objetivo de valorar cuáles son las disfunciones de integración sensorial de este grupo, para poder establecer terapias que mejoren estos déficits. La presente investigación experimental con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, cuyo objetivo es la intervención del terapeuta en el área de neonatología aplicando el modelo de integración sensorial utilizando técnicas que ayuden en el desarrollo normal de un niño recién nacido prematuro a lo largo de su vida

In this paper, sensory processing dysfunctions were determined in a group of premature children (under 37 weeks of gestational age) belonging to the kangaroo plan program of the University Hospital of Guayaquil, with the aim of assessing which are the sensory integration dysfunctions of this group, to be able to establish therapies that improve these deficits. The present experimental research with qualitative and quantitative approach, whose objective is the intervention of the therapist in the area of neonatology applying the sensory integration model using techniques that help in the normal development of a premature newborn child throughout its life.
