Este proyecto tuvo por objetivo general determinar la incidencia de la digitalización de imágenes e implementación de la teleradiología, en los recursos utilizados en el servicio médico del departamento de imágenes médicas del Centro Clínico Quirúrgico Ambulatorio del Hospital del Día Efrén Jurado López, con la finalidad de desarrollar un plan de mejoras de los recursos de este departamento. Esto se logró mediante una revisión de teorías y la implementación de una encuesta a todo el personal, a través de un conjunto de variables cuantitativas que los identificara. Este trabajo de investigación permitió conocer el grado de satisfacción del personal del área de imagenología: tecnólogos médicos, médicos radiólogos, doctores y licenciados, el área de emergencia: médicos, enfermeras, auxiliares y consulta externa, después de implementar las nuevas herramientas tecnológicas. Posteriormente, con base a las encuestas realizadas, y el análisis de resultados, se identificó la necesidad de implementar una herramienta tecnológica complementaria para elevar aún más el nivel de eficiencia y atención del departamento de imágenes médicas del Centro Clínico Quirúrgico Ambulatorio Hospital del día Efrén Jurado López.The general objective of this project was to determine the incidence of the digitalization of radiological images and the implementation of teleradiology, in the resources used in the medical service of the medical imaging department of Ambulatory Surgical Clinic Center (Hospital del Día) Efrén Jurado López” , with the purpose of developing a plan to optimize resources in this department. This was achieved through a revision of theories and the implementation of a survey of all staff members, through a set of quantitative variables that identified them. This research work allowed the knowledge of the degree of satisfaction of the staff members of the imaging area: medical technologists, radiologists, doctors and graduates, emergency area, doctors, nurses and auxiliaries, external consultation area, after implementing the new technological tools. Subsequently, based on the inquests an the analysis of results, the need to implement a complementary technology tools to further raise the level of efficiency and attention of the medical imaging department of the Ambulatory Surgical Clinic Center Hospital del Día Efrén Jurado López was identified.
