dc.descriptionAbstract: The dark triad of personality is an area little researched in psychology in the adolescent population. From this, it can be seen immersed in social problems such as cyber bullying. Based on this, the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the dark triad of personality and cyberbullying in adolescents from a public Educational Unit in the province of Loja, Ecuador. A non-experimental quantitative study with a descriptive correlational scope was carried out. For this, a sociodemographic survey, cyberbullying questionnaire, cyberbullying victim questionnaire and the dark triad of personality scale were applied. The research included 94 adolescent students. The results show a relationship between the characteristic features of the dark triad of personality and the action, which refers to the behavior that corresponds to cyberbullying. This demonstrates how personality in adolescents influences acts related to bullying through digital media.en-US
dc.descriptionResumen: La triada oscura de la personalidad, es un área poco investigada en psicología en la población adolescente. A partir de esto, se puede ver inmersa en problemas sociales como es el caso del bullying cibernético. En función de esto, el objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre la triada oscura de la personalidad y el ciberbullying en adolescentes de una Unidad Educativa pública de la provincia de Loja, Ecuador. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo no experimental con alcance descriptivo correlacional. Para esto se aplicó una encuesta sociodemográfica, cuestionario de ciberacoso, cuestionario de víctimas de Ciberbullying y la escala de la triada oscura de la personalidad. La investigación incluyo a 94 adolescentes estudiantes. Los resultados muestran relación entre los rasgos característicos de la triada oscura de personalidad y el accionar, que se refiere a la conducta que corresponde al ciberbullying. Así se demuestra cómo la personalidad en los adolescentes, influye en actos relacionados al acoso a través de los medios digitales.es-ES
