dc.descriptionLos infogramas se utilizan en la docencia como recurso didáctico para potenciar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. El objetivo general fue determinar el uso de infogramas por parte de los docentes para potenciar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. El tipo de estudio fue diseño mixto descriptivo de corte transversal. Se utilizaron métodos como: científico, analítico, sintético; deductivo, inductivo y estadística descriptiva para presentar los resultados. La muestra seleccionada es de tipo no probabilística de 35 estudiantes del 10mo. grado de educación básica y 8 docentes, que mostraron predisposición para el trabajo investigativo. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta. Como resultados importantes se evidenció que el 75 % de docentes no utilizan infogramas para impartir sus clases; el 54 % de docentes y 49 % de estudiantes señalan que los infogramas son diagramas y esquemas; y, el 100 % de docentes y estudiantes señalan que la utilización de infogramas si ayudarían a mejorar el rendimiento académico y el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Se concluye que los infogramas resultan de gran utilidad didáctica en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, luego de la aplicación de talleres educativos del uso y manejo de infogramas con los estudiantes.es-ES
dc.descriptionInfograms are used in teaching as a didactic resource to enhance the academic performance of students. The general objective was to determine the use of infograms by teachers to enhance the academic performance of students. The type of study was a cross-sectional descriptive mixed design. Methods such as: scientific, analytical, synthetic; deductive, inductive and descriptive statistics to present the results. The selected sample is of a non-probabilistic type of 35 students from the 10th grade. basic education degree and 8 teachers, who showed a predisposition for investigative work. The technique used was the survey. As important results it was evidenced that 75% of teachers do not use infograms to teach their classes; 54% of teachers and 49% of students indicate that infograms are diagrams and schemes; and, 100% of teachers and students indicate that the use of infograms would help to improve academic performance and student learning. It is concluded that infograms are of great didactic usefulness in the teaching-learning process to improve the academic performance of students, after the application of educational workshops on the use and management of infograms with students.en-US
