dc.descriptionTo determine the efficiency of the number of virgin females (HV) in the capture of adult males of Plutella xylostella L, delta traps provided with cages containing one, two, three HV and a blank control (empty cage) were designed and installed. with three repetitions, in the Brassicaceas cultures, at a distance of 35 m between the cages, avoiding the overlapping range of female pheromones. The daily record in the morning hours for three consecutive days with the exchange of females on the seventh day on three occasions will prove to determine the effectiveness of the treatments. The three treatments presented were the capture of adults, the treatment with three HV being the one that presented the highest number of adults captured (767) above 16 adults / day, followed by the treatment with two HV (199), the treatment with one HV (22) and finally the control that does not present capture, with significant differences compared to the other three treatments (p <0.05). The results showed that the higher capture is related to the number of HV placed due to the concentration of pheromone emitted by the virgin female.en-US
dc.descriptionPara determinar la eficiencia del número de hembras vírgenes (HV) en la captura de, machos adultos de Plutella xylostella L, se diseñaron y se instalaron trampas delta provista de jaulas conteniendo uno, dos, tres HV y un testigo en blanco (jaula vacía) con tres repeticiones, en los cultivos de las Brassicaceas, a una distancia de 35 m entre las jaulas evitando el rango de traslape de feromonas de la hembra. El registro diario en horas de la mañana durante tres días consecutivos con el recambio de hembras al sétimo día en tres ocasiones permitió determinar la eficacia de los tratamientos. Los tres tratamientos presentaron la captura de adultos siendo el tratamiento con tres HV el que presentó mayor número de adultos capturados (767) por encima de 16 adultos/día, seguido por el tratamiento con dos HV (199), el tratamiento con una HV (22) y finalmente el testigo que no presenta captura, con diferencias significativas comparado con los otros tres tratamientos (p<0.05).  Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la mayor captura está relacionada al número de HV colocadas debido a la concentración de feromona emitida por las hembras vírgenes.es-ES
