The incorporation of wind farms in the territory not only involves the selection of large areas but a precise distinction of the land for its implementation that guarantees its viability as an energy production project. As a consequence of this, new territorial footprints emerge, configured by these facilities that are arranged as rural borders. The research proposes to study systems of linkage between the existing territorial productive activities -agricultural, forestry and grazing- and the energy production of the wind farms located in the rural properties; through the case study of the Aurora Wind Farm in Llanquihue - X Region of the Lakes - Chile. These activities demand the use of the same territories; those that today are forced to the exclusive use for the generation of wind energy generating territorial isolation and mono production, due to the current model of geographic disposition of wind farms in Chile, canceling previous productive uses. It is under this condition that it is proposed to rethink the logics of land occupation and the resolution of this segregating edge of these two productive areas avoiding friction and exploring their interrelation.Los asentamientos informales autoconstruidos, La incorporación de parques eólicos en el territorio no solamente implica la selección de grandes superficies sino una distinción precisa del terreno para su implantación que garantice su viabilidad como proyecto de producción energética. Como consecuencia de esto, emergen nuevas huellas territoriales configuradas por estas instalaciones que se disponen como bordes rurales. La investigación plantea estudiar los sistemas de vinculación entre las actividades productivas territoriales existentes –agrícolas, forestal y pastoreo– y la producción energética de los parques eólicos ubicados en los predios rurales; a partir del estudio de caso del Parque Eólico Aurora en Llanquihue –X Región De los Lagos–, Chile. Estas actividades demandan el uso de los mismos territorios; los que hoy se obligan al uso exclusivo para la generación de energía eólica generando así aislamiento territorial y mono producción, debido al modelo actual de disposición geográfica de los parques eólicos en Chile, anulando usos productivos anteriores. Es bajo esta condición que se propone repensar las lógicas de ocupación del suelo y la resolución de este borde segregador de estos dos ámbitos productivos, evitando la fricción y explorando su interrelación.
